Teia in Latino 2012
Between the 23rd and 29th of November, there will be the 2nd edition of Latino 2012 – Spanish and Latin-American Cinema Festival Belo Horizonte, which will showcase three films from Teia in this year’s program.
The event, promoted by Cervantes Institute in partnership with Usiminas Belas Artes, will bring more than 100 free screenings of films from Spain and various parts of Latin America. With the 2012’s edition, the Festival intends to firms itself as the most important one in its genre in the national scenario as they expect more than 12,000 viewers to come.
Teia will be part of the Festival with Acácio (Cattle Callers), Girimunho (Swirl), and Mira, in the National Brazilian thematic program. The others are Realism in the Spanish Cinema of the 50s, Horror pop, Zona Zine – New authors in Spanish Cinema, Cinema in Construction, Pedro Almodóvar and Spanish Gay – Lesbian Universe.
Besides the extensive film program, the Festival will also have parallel activities, which include meeting the directors, book release, photography exhibition and even a course in movie critic.
